These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SharkVPN’s applications, websites, VPN services, support services, and related features (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using SharkVPN, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. About SharkVPN

SharkVPN provides virtual private network services and related account, subscription, support, notification, and access-management functionality.

Depending on your platform, location, eligibility, and plan, SharkVPN may provide:

Free VPN access
Rewarded VPN access
Paid subscription access
Multiple VPN server locations
Account and device management
Customer support
Operational notifications

2. Eligibility

You may use SharkVPN only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms and to use VPN services in your location.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of SharkVPN is lawful under the laws and regulations that apply to you.

SharkVPN may not be available in all countries, regions, networks, or app stores.

3. Your Account

Some SharkVPN features may require an account.

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate information where required
Keeping your account credentials secure
Protecting access to your devices
Maintaining control of your registered authentication methods
Promptly informing us if you believe your account has been compromised

You may not sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise make your account available to another person where doing so would violate these Terms or applicable plan restrictions.

SharkVPN may use device, session, identity, and other technical controls to protect accounts from unauthorized use, duplicate abuse, or fraud.

4. Authentication and Social Sign-In

SharkVPN may support authentication through third-party identity providers such as Google and Apple.

Your use of those providers is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

SharkVPN does not control the continued availability of third-party authentication providers and may add, remove, or change supported authentication methods.

5. VPN Service

When connected, SharkVPN routes eligible network traffic through SharkVPN-operated or SharkVPN-authorized VPN infrastructure.

VPN performance can vary based on factors outside SharkVPN’s control, including:

Your Internet connection
Your device
Your physical location
The selected VPN server
Network congestion
Third-party networks
Routing conditions
Government or ISP restrictions
External websites or services

We do not guarantee a specific speed, latency, location availability, IP address, uninterrupted connection, or ability to access every website, application, or service.

6. Server Locations

SharkVPN may offer multiple VPN locations or nodes.

Server availability may change from time to time due to maintenance, capacity, security, provider availability, legal requirements, network conditions, or operational decisions.

SharkVPN may automatically assign or reassign users to different infrastructure where necessary for performance, maintenance, security, or availability.

7. Free VPN Access

SharkVPN may provide limited free VPN access subject to eligibility rules, usage limits, session rules, regional availability, or other conditions.

Free access may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

Free access does not create a right to continued service, a guaranteed amount of data, a guaranteed duration, or a guaranteed server location.

8. Rewarded Advertising

SharkVPN may allow eligible users to obtain VPN access by voluntarily completing rewarded advertising events.

Reward amounts, access durations, eligibility, limits, expiration rules, and available advertising may vary.

A reward is granted only after SharkVPN verifies that the applicable rewarded event is valid.

SharkVPN’s backend records are authoritative for determining whether a reward has been successfully earned, consumed, expired, or rejected.

Attempting to manipulate advertising events, automate ad interactions, replay reward requests, bypass reward verification, or otherwise obtain unauthorized rewarded access is prohibited.

SharkVPN may deny, reverse, limit, or suspend rewards where fraud, abuse, duplication, automation, or technical manipulation is detected.

9. Reward Expiration and Session Rules

Rewarded VPN access may be subject to expiration or session-specific conditions.

Depending on the reward type, unused rewarded access may expire after a period of inactivity, application closure, session termination, or the applicable reward period.

Daily or extended rewards may expire according to the period communicated within the application.

Rewarded access is not cash, is not transferable, and has no monetary value outside SharkVPN.

10. Paid Plans and Subscriptions

SharkVPN may offer paid subscriptions, plans, or other forms of paid access.

Pricing, duration, features, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be displayed through the relevant purchase channel or application interface before purchase.

Paid access may be processed through third parties such as:

Google Play
Apple App Store
Supported payment providers
Supported regional payment methods

Purchases are subject to the terms, refund rules, billing rules, and processing requirements of the applicable payment provider.

11. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Where a subscription automatically renews, it will continue according to the terms shown by the applicable store or payment provider unless cancelled before the applicable renewal deadline.

Deleting your SharkVPN account does not necessarily cancel a subscription maintained by an external app store or payment provider.

You are responsible for cancelling recurring subscriptions through the provider through which you originally purchased them where required.

SharkVPN does not guarantee that account deletion will automatically cancel, refund, or reverse external store billing.

12. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the payment provider, purchase method, applicable law, and the circumstances of the transaction.

Purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store may be subject to the respective store’s refund policies.

Where SharkVPN directly processes a payment, any applicable refund terms will be disclosed through the relevant payment method or purchase terms.

13. Acceptable Use

You may use SharkVPN only for lawful purposes.

You must not use SharkVPN to:

Violate applicable law or regulation
Commit, facilitate, or conceal fraud
Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or malicious code
Conduct unauthorized access, intrusion, exploitation, or attacks against systems or networks
Perform denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks
Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
Engage in phishing, credential theft, or identity theft
Distribute content where doing so is unlawful
Exploit or harm children
Interfere with SharkVPN’s infrastructure, applications, APIs, or security controls
Attempt to bypass account, subscription, reward, device, or usage restrictions
Resell or commercially redistribute SharkVPN access without written authorization
Use stolen, compromised, fabricated, or unauthorized payment or account information

14. Abuse and Security Controls

SharkVPN may use automated and manual controls to protect the Services, users, infrastructure, and third parties from abuse or security threats.

These controls may include:

Rate limits
Device limits
Session limits
Fraud detection
Reward verification
Account suspension
Session revocation
VPN access revocation
Infrastructure-level blocking

We may take reasonable action where abuse, attacks, fraud, circumvention, excessive automated activity, or security threats are detected.

15. Account Suspension and Blocking

SharkVPN may suspend, block, restrict, or revoke access to an account where reasonably necessary, including for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraud or suspected fraud
Security threats
Unauthorized use
Abuse of free or rewarded access
Payment disputes or invalid payments
Legal or regulatory requirements
Protection of SharkVPN infrastructure or other users

Suspension or reactivation of an account does not automatically extend or restore an expired subscription, expired trial, consumed reward, or expired entitlement.

16. Account Deletion

SharkVPN provides an account-deletion process.

A standard deletion request may place your account into a 60-day recovery period.

During this period, SharkVPN may revoke active access while preserving the account solely for permitted recovery and lifecycle processing.

If you recover your account during the allowed recovery period, recovery does not extend or recreate subscriptions, trials, rewards, or other access rights that have expired or already been consumed.

After the recovery period expires, SharkVPN may finalize deletion or anonymization according to its account lifecycle procedures.

In certain authorized circumstances, an account may be permanently finalized without a recovery period.

Certain limited transaction, security, accounting, audit, or legally required records may remain after account deletion where retention is reasonably necessary.

17. Support

SharkVPN may provide customer support through the application, website, email, or other supported channels.

Support responses are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.

We do not guarantee a specific response time unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, payment-card credentials, private keys, or other unnecessary sensitive information through support messages.

18. Notifications

SharkVPN may send operational or transactional communications relating to:

Your account
Authentication
Security
Support requests
Subscriptions
Account deletion or recovery
Important service changes

Some operational communications may be necessary for the administration or security of the Services.

Marketing communications, where offered, may have separate opt-out controls.

19. Software and Intellectual Property

SharkVPN and its associated applications, software, designs, branding, logos, APIs, website content, and other proprietary materials are owned by SharkVPN or its licensors, except where otherwise stated.

Subject to these Terms, SharkVPN grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.

You may not:

Copy or redistribute proprietary SharkVPN software except where expressly permitted
Remove proprietary notices
Misrepresent yourself as SharkVPN
Use SharkVPN branding without authorization
Attempt to defeat licensing, access, subscription, or security controls

Nothing in these Terms overrides rights you may have under applicable open-source software licenses for open-source components used within SharkVPN.

20. Updates and Changes to the Services

SharkVPN may update, modify, add, remove, or discontinue features from time to time.

Changes may be required for:

Security
Compatibility
Infrastructure changes
Provider requirements
Legal requirements
Performance improvements
Product development

You may be required to install an updated version of the SharkVPN application to continue using some features.

21. Third-Party Services

SharkVPN may rely on or interact with third-party services, including app stores, authentication providers, payment processors, advertising providers, infrastructure providers, and other external services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

SharkVPN is not responsible for third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

22. Third-Party Websites and Content

SharkVPN may allow you to access third-party websites or services while connected to the VPN.

SharkVPN does not control the content, security, availability, legality, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

Using SharkVPN does not make third-party websites safer, trustworthy, lawful, or suitable for your use.

23. No Guarantee of Anonymity

A VPN can improve privacy and network security in certain circumstances, but no VPN service can guarantee complete anonymity.

Your privacy can also depend on factors such as:

Your browser
Account logins
Cookies
Device identifiers
Applications installed on your device
Websites you visit
Third-party tracking technologies
Your own actions while online

You should not rely on SharkVPN as a guarantee of anonymity, immunity from tracking, or protection from every online threat.

24. No Guarantee of Access to Third-Party Services

Some websites, streaming services, payment services, applications, networks, or online platforms may restrict or block VPN connections.

SharkVPN does not guarantee that a particular service, website, platform, geographic content library, or application will remain accessible through the VPN.

25. Service Availability

We aim to operate SharkVPN reliably, but the Services may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted, slowed, restricted, or degraded.

This may occur because of:

Scheduled maintenance
Emergency maintenance
Infrastructure failures
Internet outages
Provider outages
Cyberattacks
Government actions
Network interference
Events beyond our reasonable control

26. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SharkVPN is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that the Services will:

Always be available
Always be uninterrupted
Always be error-free
Meet every individual requirement
Provide a specific speed
Provide complete anonymity
Prevent all security threats
Provide access to every website or service

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SharkVPN and its operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the Services.

This may include loss arising from:

Loss of data
Loss of access
Loss of revenue or profits
Business interruption
Third-party actions
Service interruptions
Use or inability to use the VPN

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

28. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of SharkVPN, violation of these Terms, or infringement of the rights of another person.

29. Termination

You may stop using SharkVPN at any time.

SharkVPN may terminate or restrict your access where permitted under these Terms, required by law, necessary for security, or necessary to protect the Services and other users.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination may continue to apply, including provisions concerning intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute matters, and retained records.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to SharkVPN, applicable law, third-party requirements, or our business practices.

When these Terms are updated, we will update the Last Updated date.

Where required, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Continued use of SharkVPN after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.

31. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or other legal rights that apply based on your location.

Additional jurisdiction-specific terms may apply where required by law.

32. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

33. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the SharkVPN Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a specific service, plan, payment method, promotion, or feature, form the agreement governing your use of SharkVPN.
